01. Program Name
Mortgage Scope Financial Texts, a text messaging program run by Mortgage Scope Financial Corp ("Mortgage Scope Financial," "we," "us"), Company NMLS #1867948.
02. Program Description
There are two kinds of texts in this program, and you choose each one separately:
- Appointment and service texts: confirmations and reminders for calls you book with us (such as a 15-minute first-time homebuyer strategy call), follow-up about the mortgage inquiry you sent us, and updates about your loan.
- Marketing texts (only if you checked the marketing box): mortgage and homebuying tips, event and webinar invitations, offers, and occasional check-ins after your loan closes.
03. How You Opt In
You opt in by entering your mobile number on a Mortgage Scope Financial form or booking page and checking an unchecked, optional box that describes the texts you want. Checking a box is never required.
By checking a box and submitting the form, you give your electronic signature and authorize Mortgage Scope Financial Corp to send text messages to the mobile number you entered, using an automated system for selecting and dialing numbers and sending texts. The texts will be the kind you checked: appointment and service texts, marketing texts, or both. You are not required to check a box or sign, directly or indirectly, as a condition of buying any property, goods, or services, or of getting a loan or any other service from us.
04. Who Texts You
Texts come from Mortgage Scope Financial and Jesus "J Rod" Rodriguez (NMLS #339399). Every text starts with our business name, and the first text you receive confirms the number it came from.
05. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Appointment and service texts depend on your booking and your loan. Marketing texts are occasional. We send marketing texts only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in your local time, and no more than three in any 24 hours, no matter which of our numbers sends them.
06. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. We do not charge you for texts.
07. How to Stop Texts
Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from Mortgage Scope Financial. You can also reply STOPALL, OPTOUT, QUIT, END, REVOKE, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. Any other reasonable way of telling us also works, such as "please stop texting me" or "opt me out," whether you text us, call (954) 465-6396, or email jrod@mtgscope.com. You can choose any of these ways. We will not require a particular one.
We act on opt-outs promptly and always within 10 business days. Your opt-out applies to all of our texting numbers, not only the one you replied to. You will get one text confirming your opt-out, with no marketing in it, and no more texts after that unless you opt in again. To opt back in, check the box on one of our forms again or reply START, UNSTOP, or YES.

09. Consent Is Not a Condition
Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of any loan, purchase, application, or service. You can book a call or work with us without agreeing to texts.
10. Carriers Are Not Liable
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier and device.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us. If you change or give up that number, please reply STOP from it or tell us so we can remove it. We are licensed in Florida. Where a state requires a license or registration for the loans we help arrange, we offer those services only as that state's law permits.
12. Your Privacy
We never share, sell, or rent your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our SMS Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy.
13. Keep Sensitive Information Out of Texts
Please do not text us Social Security numbers, account numbers, income or bank details, or document images. We will send you a secure link instead.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you opted in, and any updates we post, apply to texts sent after the update.
